Meet the Education Advocacy Fellowship Class of 2016!
Atnre Alleyne, Delaware
Atnre joins the 50CAN Fellowship from the Delaware Department of Education, where he led policy and research efforts on teacher and leader effectiveness with the Strategic Data Project of Harvard University. He is the founder of TeenSHARP, an organization that prepares talented students of color for top colleges. Atnre holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in public administration from Rutgers University-Camden.
Eva Colen, Virginia
Eva joins 50CAN after serving as Teach For America’s managing director of community engagement in Richmond and as state director for recruitment in Virginia. Eva is a Teach For America Philadelphia alum and has also completed a Leadership for Educational Equity Public Leaders Fellowship. Eva earned a bachelor’s degree in classics and gender studies from Columbia University and holds a master’s degree in urban education from the University of Pennsylvania.
